E-file
E-file
(electronic filing) is the fastest, safest and most accurate way of filing a federal and state tax return and reduces the risk of errors compared to filing a paper Form1040.   Tax return information filed electronically is protected through encryption. Taxpayers receive an acknowledgement within 48 hours that the IRS accepted the return; and taxpayers who choose direct deposit can receive their refund in half the time.

Free File
Free File
program is a free federal tax preparation and electronic filing program for eligible taxpayers developed through a partnership between the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Free File Alliance LLC, a group of private sector tax software companies. Please note that if you access these companies by going directly to a company's website and not through www.irs.gov, you may be charged a fee. To find out more about each company’s pricing policies and fees, click on Free File.

Turbo Tax
TurboTax Online helps prepare and file your income taxes from any computer with an Internet connection. TurboTax Online stores your Form 1040 tax return for you. Nothing to install.  Free e-file is included with the purchase of online products.  Individual taxpayers can access by clicking on TuboTax.
